Wow! What an incredible journey the last month has been. I am so thankful for the gifts received and expressed from spirit.

My last blog post was about a man who’s sister in law had a reading with me, and as he was about to pass away in the hospital yet he came through. It is literally the next post down titled ‘the weight of it all’.  On a recent Friday morning, I had the pleasure with speaking with Jim again. His wife Karen came to see me. Her sister told her the incredible story of what had transpired and she just had to come meet me. She drove a little over 3 hours to come for a 9 am appointment! One of the reasons why I have an assistant do all of my bookings is because I do not want to know anything about my clients prior to sitting with them! This case was no exception. When Karen sat with me I treated her like every other reading. Explained how I work¸ what to expect and then started. She did not tell me who she was, or who she was looking for.  I connected with a few spirits in the room and to be honest, I can’t remember it all now. Her husband was the 1st person in the room. He came in just as he had before with a hospital gown, major breathing issues, blood issue, hovering above the body (not coherent) before passing. He explained that he had not been well for a while, but had no intention of passing away. He honestly did not know he was going until it was too late (I later found out that he had his DNR removed).   When I described this man to her she knew exactly who he was. She had read all my blogs, information and was not sure that he would come though. Her sister assured her that he would be here.  It had been 5 long weeks and she shed tears of joy knowing that he was alright. I myself was shocked that he was able to manifest that fast. Our communication was a bit trying at times, but none the less he got his messages across to her.  She has a journey ahead of her, but I am certain that she knows she is not alone. It was a real blessing to be able to connect these two people again. Thank you Karen. Many Blessings to you and a speedy recovery to your Jim.

I have always had a fascination with funerals. The daughter of a minister & medium, I guess you could see why. When I became a minister earlier this year, I knew that I would be seeing more funerals in my future. I did not know how interesting they would be. A previous client contacted me on a Wednesday night. Her father had passed and her family wanted to have a ‘celebration of life’. I was saddened to hear of his passing as I knew that she had lost her mother some time ago. She told me the celebration was on Sunday, so we had to meet asap. When she and her brothers came in, I could feel the weight of their loss. It had been a few days since he had passed, and although they knew he was not well with a terminal prognosis, we are never really ready for the passing of a parent. We talked in lengths about Doug. We laughed and cried as they told me wonderful stories of the man that loved them right to the end; the man they called Poppa.  I took quite a few hours trying to figure out what stories I should share. The day came and I really wasn’t sure what to expect. You see, usually when I attend funerals, I see the deceased. I see them standing with their families and I see them comforting their friends. I see them sending the love that we who are here left in the physical realm miss so much. Doug was no different. I arrived at the hall a few minutes early in hopes that I’d be able to see him right away. I should have thought about it. I know it takes a tremendous amount of energy for them to manifest, and there wasn’t quite enough there yet. About half an hour in, there he was…. Hovering over where the food should have been. You see Doug was about feeding people, one of his very admirable traits. His family and friends had started gathering around and there was no food yet. When I told my client this, she laughed so hard. She said that it was just like him and then went off to tell her brothers what I was seeing. Later in the celebration he asked me where his jacket was. Puzzled, I asked the family, and they figured out that he was looking for a new jacket. All the members of the soccer club he belonged to had new red jackets, and he did not have one! What a giggle we had over that. The last time I saw Doug was when he stood behind his sister as she said a few words to the crowd about the brother that she missed so very much.  The out pour of love was beautiful. Although this family was missing the 2 people who brought them into existence, they were surrounded by love & affection from their family & friends. Thank you Michelle & Family for allowing me to help you celebrate such a wonderful man! Blessings upon you all.

Now, for the Piece de résistance as they say. This past Saturday I was Officiating a wedding for two of the nicest, well suited people I have ever met. Kelli had been a work colleague of my husbands from a few years back. I had seen her as a client in 2010, and she had been back twice since then. The last time bringing her lovely fiancé Matt.  They told me of their desire to be wed and then surprised me by asking if I would help them. I was ecstatic. The chemistry and love the two of these people exude was beautiful. We talked a few times over what they wanted and how I could help them achieve the ceremony they wanted. One of the things that I knew about this couple was their losses. Both had lost parents. Luckily for us, on their last visit with me, BOTH their mothers came in. I was thankful for their help, and they were thankful for the confirmation and acceptance of one another’s life partner by their mothers.  Fast forward to Saturday!  I completely forgot that the wedding was to take place in the Distillery District of Toronto. This is an incredibly old and spiritually active part of town. Busy was an understatement. On first arrival I was a bit frazzled, but I was able to get grounded fairly quickly. The guests were gathering in the gallery and the groom was anxiously waiting his first look at the bride.  When she walked in the energy became so intense. One of the things I like to do when performing a wedding ceremony is to stand in the crowd. You see the ceremony has very little to do with me, its all about the couple, so they should be the focal point. As I took my place in the crowd, I became teary. I could feel each mother beside me. I also became aware of a male (I still do not know who he is). I was able to work through the energy and carry on with the ceremony. It was a beautiful full circle moment. Not wanting to distract the happy couple from their friends and family in the physical, I decided to hang on to the information and try to find a time later on to tell them what I felt. Luckily my husband was able to take a few photos of not only the ceremony but also the speeches at the reception. I was able to ‘show’ them where their parents where during both. In that last meeting, their mothers told me the colour of dresses they would be wearing to the wedding. The bride's mother was in Green, and the groom's mother in Pink. The Blue & Red orbs are other male spirits who were present, but I was not able to identify them.  I was able to create a photo of where I could feel or see their presences. The newly weds left directly for their honeymoon so I have not had a chance to connect with them yet, but I did send them the information via Text Message. Isn’t technology grand! I have loaded them here for you to see…. The 1st is the original photo, and the 2nd shows where I felt the energies…. See how I was directed to one side in the 1st photo, and how 2 spirits were on that one side…. the energy was very intense. Anyway, I just wanted you to see what or how I feel. Kelli & Matt, thank your for allowing me to help you on your special day. The love & gratitude you expressed for one another could last nothing short of an eternity. Sometimes people ask me what its like to be a medium. Most of the time I smile and tell them how much I love connecting people with their loved ones who have crossed over. But just like in any profession, mediums have challenging days too.

Yesterday. Yeah, yesterday was tough.

It was 8:30 pm & I was sitting with my last client of the day. I had read for her once before. She told me that her last reading was (her words) ‘incredible’. I had described her loved ones perfectly and she was anxious to make those connections again.  I treated her like any other reading…. As I honestly don’t remember any of my readings.

I started as I always do…. Prayer asking for protection and love. I opened the spiritual ‘door’ to let those who have crossed over come in & then I waited…..  When I started describing to this lady the 1st person in the room & how he died, she really had only one question for me. ‘Are you sure the first man you described dead? Or could he still be living somehow?’

When I asked him, he wouldn’t (or maybe couldn’t) respond. He then started talking about his spouse. He also gave me more information about his personality, and more about who he was. He gave me a sense of urgency, that the messages that he was giving me had to be passed along right away.

She thought this was her brother in law. He had been admitted to hospital earlier in the day for some routine or maintenance care. He had a disease, ALS or Lupis or something to that effect. She told me that they had put him in a coma to help him heal faster. A wave of grief came over me. I knew he was still alive. I also knew he wouldn’t be coming out again.

This is the part of my work I dislike. I learned a long time ago, it is not my job to change the messages. Its not my job to judge what is and is not important. I am only the telephone line to the other side.

I told this lady that I was very concerned for him, and that I felt that she should do what she could to support her sister as soon as she could. I don’t think she believed what she was hearing.

 We carried on talking to the other family members who had crossed in the room, and the angel that also appeared. The rest of the reading was positive, filled with hope and love from her family and for things coming up in her life.

When I finished with her, I started my evening prayers. I asked God to help this family, as well as the many others that I come in contact with each day. I hoped with all my heart that the information I had given this lady was wrong. That somehow he was going to be fine and that their lives would continue on.

8:30 this morning I received an email from this lady. Her brother in law passed away some time around 8 am.

It’s a heavy thing, doing what I do. Talking about death, talking to dead people, its not always easy. I think that most people are afraid. They are afraid of what I do, what I know and what will be said. I think they are afraid of death.  I really wish they weren’t afraid of me.

The life of a medium is lonely. I think because of their fear, most people wont keep in touch or let me in. Sometimes I feel like people only contact me when they need something from the other side. I’m sure that feeling is not something specific to me, but some days it certainly feels that way.

When I was a kid, I had a hard time differentiating between the living and the ‘dead’. In truth, I had more friends who were ‘dead’ than living. I’ve been an outsider most of my life. I guess that’s why I’ve kept to myself a lot. Maybe that’s why I seem private or sometimes cold. I’ve had a life time of learning that when I let people in, they don’t usually stay long.

Days like today I really ask myself if I’m doing the right thing. Should I be working as a medium? Is this the best way I can be in service to others? Is this the best way to contribute to the earth? Should I be telling people everything I receive?

Yes. As heartbreaking and heavy as it is, this work is needed. At this moment in time, this is how the world needs me.

Tomorrow is a brand new day. It will be filled with new people and new adventures. I’m excited for it. I’m grateful that when I put my head on my pillow tonight, that God will wash away most memories of the messages I shared today. I’m thankful for the peace that comes when I sleep.

When I was a kid, manners went a long way.... I like to think that they still do. So, I say thank you. Because of you, I've been able to help so many people re-connect with their loved ones & receive information that will/has helped them on their life paths.
Some of you have been asking for parties in recent weeks. I love you for it, I really do. I'm sure you will understand when I say parties are very taxing. When I work a party, I'm typically working for about 8 hours. Now, some of you may say.... hey! I work 8 hours all the time.... but, do you do it with a 5 month old???? lol.  My little guy is exclusively breastfed. Because of this, I have to be very careful as to how much stress I put my body under. The more stress, the less milk.... which as you can imagine makes for a very unhappy baby. When Graham gets older I'll revisit working parties, but until then lovies, I'm out for now. If you still want to have a party, I do know some dynamite mediums that would be delighted to help you. Feel free to ask about who I recommend in your area.
In the last 2 weeks I've had some pretty high profile cases come knocking at my door. For Privacy reasons, I obviously cannot give you any information on what transpired. Both were drawn to me because of how transparent I am here on my website. Both told me so after they had sat with me. It was certainly interesting to work these cases, as I had no real prior knowledge of them. You see, I don't watch the news. I don't like it. Its way too negative, and I'm way too sensitive. Both parties were genuinly shocked at how little I actually knew. I wear my emotions on my sleeve.... I can't hide anything... not that I try. I was also told they would be back to see me when enough time had passed to be able to connect with their loved ones.

I've had many clients ask me this question, usually preceded by, 'I know this may be a stupid question but, ......."

Well Lovies, there is no such thing as a stupid question. ;o)

Now, I know losing someone close to you can be very difficult. I suggest that if there hasn't been at least 3 months since they have passed, that you wait to contact them because:

1. This person has been up-rooted from the body & life they are accustomed too. As you can imagine, it would take some adjusting to the changes that have happened from the physical to the spiritual world. The physical world and the spiritual world have different 'rules'. For example, a decade here in our time, is like a blink to them.

2. Depending on the circumstances of their demise, they may not have completely descended yet.  Its kind of complicated, but they may still be sticking around the earth to help you and other loved ones move forward. Three months is usually the time when our grief seems to lesson, and they are able to start their journey through the different dimensions.

3. If they have descended, they may still be in what I call 'Transition Time'. This is a period of time where the person who has passed away is focused on the reviewing of their life & may not be able to communicate well or at all.

4. If you are looking to hear from a specific person, waiting for a sign from them is very important. When you receive a sign from them, you'll know that they are ready to communicate, and that the chances of them being present for your reading would be much more likely. Ideally, this is the best way to know when you should book time with the medium you feel drawn to.

I suggest a minimum of 3 months time because in most cases, they are not ready to communicate before that time. Having said that "time" is not the best indicator, but "indisputable signs" they want to communicate with you is. What are indisputable signs? They come be coming to you in your dreams or in your everyday life you may see constant signs/reminders that are out of the ordinary. You're always welcome to book and try, but I'd like you to get the best connection possible.  I hope this makes sense to you, and I'd be delighted to answer any questions you may have about it.

In the mean time, please keep talking to this person. People on the other side hear us when we talk to them! So talk to them as though they can hear you. This will help them to move forward on their journey and give them energy. It will also comfort them as much as it will comfort you.

I hope this helps answer a few of those lingering questions. As I say, there are no stupid questions. As always, I send love & light to you and your loved ones, no matter what world we are in.

Hi Lovies.....My apologies for not writing, some of you have kept me rather busy these days. lol. ;o)

So recently a friend of mine, who incidentally has very little knowledge about what I do, saw a Saturday Night Live Episode that had a  Parody about the Long Island Medium. Intrigued, he started looking for info on her, & came across this link.

He sent me the link and asked me if this lady was real, and my thoughts on it.....

I have not actually seen an episode of her show, but from what I do know of her, she is real. lol. Also what she says about 'summoning' or calling in spirits of people who have passed (from this clip), is also very true.  One of the questions I'm frequently asked is "I want to talk to __________ (my mother, my partner, my friend, etc....). Can you do that?". My answer is always, 'Sure, if they come.... if not I can ask about them, where they are, or what they are doing, or why they haven't come.'

  We often seem to forget that not only does Spirit have FREE WILL, but they may be busy too. Just because we have died, doesn't mean we are dead! lol. Our life, our lessons, continue on in the afterlife. We keep growing. That is one of the most comforting things I know to be true about the after life..... that we are busy, that it doesn't end here and we still have things to do.

When my clients want to speak with someone in particular, I tell them to think of the person. I say to start talking to that person, and send them love.  We  all vibrate, and depending on where we are, we just vibrate at different frequencies (hence why I'm able to do what I do). To understand that better, I suggest you research the Natural Laws of Vibration (I'll write a blog about it soon). Reminding the person that has passed that we still need them, or love them usually helps to bring them forward when I connect to the other side. Most spirits who have completely crossed over, have the free will to check in with their loved ones whenever they want. That's why some of you will often 'suddenly' or 'out of the blue' think of someone. To be honest its not 'sudden' or 'out of the blue' at all.  That person is probably right there with you, in your space, in your energy, letting you know that they are there. At some level, you've picked up their vibration, & hence why your thinking of them.

Now, since I'm already talking about Teresa Caputo, I'd like to clear something up. I have been told that on her show, she approaches people out of the blue, and gives them messages from others who have passed away (Again, I've never actually seen this show). People ask me all the time if I do this out in public. My answer is for the most part, is NO. People are almost always shocked and taken back by that response. Let me explain; First of all, I do not walk around looking for spirit all day. I have learned to turn my 'gift' off and on when needed. Secondly, approaching a complete stranger is an invasion of personal privacy (and we have strict laws about this in Canada.). Thirdly, you can put someone into an emotional tailspin by approaching them by surprise with information like that. Put yourself in their shoes, some crazy lady who claims to talk to dead people comes up out of the blue, telling you that a loved one wants to say something to you, through them........ yeah, right! lol.

Now as I said, for the most part I do not approach a complete stranger with information from their loved ones. But of course, the universe likes to tests us, so when I am approached by a spirit (someone who has passed away) to go and talk to someone who is very much alive and in my presence, I make the spirit work for it. lol. I tell the spirit that they need to have the (alive) person come & talk to me. They can come and talk to me about absolutely anything, I don't care what the subject, but that if they can get them to talk to me, I'll find a way to pass on their messages. Here is a great story in reference to this such thing...... (I've told some of you this story in short version)

I used to love to shop at the No Frills on Simcoe St because it always had the freshest produce in town (believe me, I'm a produce snob). Anyway, I like the store, but the neighborhood is older, and with that usually comes an influx of spirit. This was no exception.  I was constantly approached by spirit to go and talk to someone while I was shopping for my weekly groceries. If  I had Thomas with me, I usually just said no. I love my son very much, and don't ever want him to feel uncomfortable or neglected because of my work. Whenever I had the leisure to shop alone (you parent hear me on that),  I always said to the spirit, 'I'm not working right now, but if you can find a way to get them to come and acknowledge me, I'll pass your message on.'  One day, back in the spring, Thomas was about 16 months old and we were shopping. It was after 9 am, and the store was fairly quiet.  I was standing at the end of the produce section of the store, and I had a spirit approach me. His name was 'Robert, but she called me Bobby', he was an older gentleman. He was well dressed and very polite. He asked me to go and talk to a lady (or the 'she' from earlier) that was about 3 rows over. She was also an older lady, who was well dressed. She was looking through the pears. Now, normally as I say, I just refuse, but Bobby was adamant. He pleaded with me that he really needed her to know 'she was ok'. I looked at him, and said, 'let me ask my son'. Now, my son is gifted in his own right, and me being so caught up with this spirit, didn't realize Thomas already was aware of him.  I simply asked Thomas 'can Mummy talk to that lady, Sir?' (Sir is our nickname for Thomas.) as I looked in her direction. He smiled and I felt pretty confident that he knew exactly what was going on.  I then said to Bobby, "Ok if you can get her to come and say anything to me, I'll do it, if not, your on your own.", still not really wanting to 'work'.  Bobby left us alone at that point to continue our shopping. We mosy'd down a few isles with no sight of the lady from the produce isle or Bobby.  I was in the canned vegetables isle when my darling son knocked quite a few cans of corn off the shelf. I was laughing & shaking my head, as I started picking them up when I noticed and older feminine hand handing me a a can.  To my surprise, it was the lady from the produce section. She handed me the can with a smile on her face, and said 'My daughter used to do that to me all the time. How old is he? " I smiled back at her thinking, he did it, Bobby got her here..... I'd better keep up my end of the bargain. 'Thank you very much, he's 2. His name is Thomas." Who incidentally, was grinning from ear to ear.... 'My name is Truly." I offered.  'Nice to meet you Truly, I'm Isabel.' She extended her hand again. I, of course shook it. 'Isabel, this may seem like an odd question, but do you know what a Medium is?' She responded,  'No, I can't say that I do.' looking at me a bit perplexed. 'May I share with you?'. 'Yes'. 'A medium is someone who connects with people who have passed away to give their loved ones and family messages from the other side. I am a medium..... (she nods), I was in the produce section earlier and I was approached by a gentleman who says he goes by the name of Bobby, well actually Robert, but apparently you called him Bobby. (at this point the color drained from Isabel's face, and I was worried that she would faint.) He's here, now, standing beside me and wants me to tell you that he has a big smile on his face & he says 'I'm ok, and don't worry, she's fine. She's been showing me around like a tour guide'. Isabel stood there with her hand over her mouth for what seemed like an eternity, and then all of a sudden came the tears. I scrambled to find a tissue in Thomas's diaper bag (who incidentally is still smiling). She put her hand on my arm and said 'You have no idea how important it was for me to hear that. Bobby is my husband and the girl he's referring to is our daughter." Now I was in shock...... "What you don't know, is that tomorrow is the anniversary of Bobby's death. Our daughter died at the age of 5, and I don't think I've ever forgiven myself for not being there for her. At least now I know they are together." Now I was crying, Thomas was still smiling of course, nodding away, talking to Bobby..... lol. What a kid. Isabel hugged me and thanked me for the message. She told me "I had been looking for a sign from him, and I'm so very relieved to know that they are both Ok. ". All I could muster was 'Your welcome.'  She patted Thomas's head, and started walking down the rest of the isle. Thomas looked up at me as if to say, 'move along, the show's over'.  I shook my head and carried on with my shopping. I did not run into Isabel again that day, or any day since.  I'm glad Bobby didn't give up. I'm glad he found a way to get her to come talk to me. I'm glad that my little guy was patient enough to sit through all that. But mostly I'm glad I was able to do that for all of them. Isabel, Bobby and their daughter.

Anyways, as I say the universe tests us, and Spirit has much more power than we give them credit for. With that note, I think I'm off to bed.  I have so many other stories like this, and hopefully one day I'll be able to share them with you.  Thanks for reading lovies.

Last Friday, I started the day like any other typical work day. I meditated, I tided my house, I set up for my clients. I took my little guy to the sitter, and came back ready to start my day.

My first reading was very good, and left me feeling confident that I helped Tanya find her way, out of this country, and back to what feels like home to her.

My second client cancelled, but it was alright, as I needed the energy for my next client.... funny how divine intervention works.

The third scheduled client for the day, found me through a charity event that I had done for Autism. When Georgette, came in, I could feel that she was a skeptic, but I figured, if she was here and drove an hour to see me, there must be a reason.  We started her reading, and a few people came forward, but I was told that the person she was looking for would not be coming today. I could tell that she was saddened to hear this, so I told her that if she gave me their first name and their birth month, I may be able to find out why. She  gave me the name 'Veronica' and the month of February and I was shown an older woman with a cane, sitting in a chair. I described the worman and asked if it was who she was looking for. It was not, but she knew who I had described. Georgette's skeptic side showed when she asked what color was the sweater that the older woman was wearing. I told her 'Yellow', and she covered her mouth. I still didn't know who this older woman was, but Georgette certainly did. The woman was able to lead me to Veronica. It turned out that Veronica hand not 'crossed over' yet.  She has been here in our earth level since her death. Veronica, although she knew she was passing, did not feel like she could leave her children and family behind. She told me that she was afraid to go on with out them. At that point, Georgette asked me how many children Veronica had.  I replied 2, a boy and a girl, but that it didn't feel like she raised them, that she was distanced from them. Veronica went on to say that she was still attached to someone's hip. I thought that 'being attached to someone's hip' was an interesting phrase, but when I looked up at Georgette, I knew it meant something to her. Veronica is Georgette's little sister, her mother used to say that the two of them were attached at the hip, she passed away from cancer while she was very young, and Georgette raised her two children, a boy and a girl.  Georgette was very upset that Veronica hadn't crossed over yet, and asked me if there was anything we could do to help her. I told her to keep talking to her sister, and to tell her to move into the light.  I told her it may take a while, as I could feel that Veronica didn't have the strength or courage to do this on her own. Then Georgette asked me the strangest thing, she asked if she could stand in Veronica's energy. I of course agreed, and she came and stood beside me. When she did that, I literately saw the two energies combine. It was a beautiful swirl of light similar to how a DNA strand swirls. Stunning! At that moment, Veronica told me that she was ready to move into the light, that she was given enough energy from her sister to do so. I told her to go ahead, that this was where she belonged. After a few minutes Georgette sat down. I explained what I saw. Unfortunately, she did not feel anything. Oh how I wish she had. She will have to take my word on her sister passing into the light.  It was a very interesting experience and was a wonderful reminder that I really never know what will happen in a reading.  Georgette, thank you for the experience, and I am so thankful that I was able to help you & your sister.

Life is so interesting. Its a wonderful journey, and I'm thankful that we can share.  Thanks for reading Lovies. xo

Hi Y'all! Sorry its been so long... Life gets crazy sometimes, as you all know.Now that I'm almost back into my regular routine, I'm attending Wednesday Night Open Meditation Classes at the Divine Light Spiritual Foundation. The Teacher is Mrs. Bonnie Galka, a lovely & well educated lady, who gives a very good guided meditation.

Each Wednesday Bonnie asks if anyone has any questions. Since the class is mostly attended by beginners, there is always at least one question. A few questions that have come up recently are: Why can't a Medium or Psychic get the information that I'm asking for?  Why should we seek the guidance of a Medium or Psychic, when the outcome or what they predict can change? and Whats the difference between a Medium and a Psychic?  Lol, of course it is a subject near and dear to my heart.... and Bonnie knows this, so she let me have the floor.

So... There is no guarantee that the medium can see what your asking of them. The thing is, we depend on spirit to bring forward what you need to know. They tell us what to tell you, not the other way around. They bring what they feel is important. Now, you may not feel it is important, but really, who are you to tell them (spirit) what is and isn't important? Don't you think they may know better than you? Also, just because it isn't important to you, doesn't mean its not important to someone else (your spouse, your kid, your friend), anyone you share the information with. You never know, it could mean the world to that other person, and you have no clue that they are even interested.  Now, say you have something in specific that you want to know about. We can certainly ask about it, but spirit may not be willing to share at this time. Yes, we get as frustrated as you do.

The whole point in seeking guidance is just that, to seek information. When you receive that information you have free will to follow it, or to change it. Sometimes just knowing that an event is going to happen stops it in its tracks, or changes the outcome. You have the ability to believe what the medium/psychic says, or you can choose to ignore it. Or say I tell you that I see a car accident in your future. By giving you that information, you will most likely change your driving habits (subconsciously) and may actually prevent it. I have a really great example of this if you ever get the chance to ask me about it.
The 3rd and final question is the one I had the hardest answering. I now realize that I had to live through working this past weekend at Oshawa Rib Fest, to be able to fully answer it. (I started this blog back at the beginning of August!). If you look under my FAQ's page you'll see these definitions:

Mediums ~ A medium has the ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead. This may be accomplished by channeling, in which the medium acts as a go-between for the other side. A good medium is also constantly updating their education in how to communicate.

Psychics ~ A psychic works at an intuitive level. Individuals who are psychic claim to have the ability to perceive information hidden from the normal senses via a "sixth sense" or extrasensory perception.

A medium may have psychic abilities, but a psychic may not be a medium.

I hope that helped a bit. I have found that most psychics don't do anything to keep up with learning new techniques or information. They feel that they do not need to. They just have to practice the gift that they were given.

I had the opportunity to meet a psychic while at the Rib Fest. She was a little perturbed that we (myself and other mediums/psychics) were there. Apparently she has been working Rib Fest since the beginning, and has never had any competition. I will say this, when people came to her and asked for someone who was in my tent, she actually sent them to us! I was shocked to learn that, and accompanied Shannon (the owner of my tent) to thank her for that.  Now.... I found it interesting that I was handed a brochure that talked about her psychic abilities, that she was a healer, reader and advisor (her spelling).  I loved this line on the inside cover "She will tell you why you came and how to solve it".  Other parts read: Let her be your solution. let her amaze you with her healing abilities to clear black magic, bad luck and evil forces! Put your heart and mind at peace knowing you can trust and believe once again. Specialize in removing any sorrow your heart has felt. Call Today for a better tomorrow.

This Amazing Lady is open 9 to 9, 7 days a week! There is a phone number for you to call, but no address..... or NAME? Really? NO NAME? That CANT be a Typo. Sorry, I'm sure someone would have caught that. This brochure has been printed by a professional printer.  I get not having an address on it, as I too work out of my home, but not a name? That I just don't understand. Where is the integrity? Why isn't she proud to put her name to what she does?

We had a few people come to our tent after visiting with her. 2 out of 3 were scared. Honestly scared! She had said that they had been cursed and that she couldn't remove the  curse there, (of course), but that they would have to book a private reading later in the week (of course). Oh by the way, that later reading was to the tune of $300! and that was just the 1st visit, it would take 3 or 4 (but of course). Also if she prays for your soul, that's another fee.

Oh, and don't ask her how she got the information.... she just knows..... really. She doesn't hear, see or feel spirit. None of the information comes from spirit. Just her.

God knows I'm not perfect, but at least I'm honest. I stand behind my work. I am the real deal. And I never take the glory for spirit... as we mediums say... 'From Spirit, THROUGH Spirit, To Spirit." . I'm just the messenger.  I also don't scare people into seeing me again. I actually tell them not to come and see me before 6 months. People need time to let things unfold. I also remind them that they have free will, and that ultimately how their life turns out is really up to them. I try to suggest ways they can improve their life themselves (like through eduction, readings or classes, meditation, physical activity, or by seeking out medical guidance.)

I have testimonials, I teach workshops on self improvement (and don't charge an arm & a leg). I'm constantly taking classes and reading books. I don't gouge when it comes to my fees (private or parties). Everyday I answer questions to clarify something that came up in a reading for a client. I do that at no charge.

I always tell people it's not about the money. I use the money towards my retirement, taking my family on vacation and some of the niceties that life has to offer. I don't need the money. I do it to help. I love to help people connect with their loved ones. I love to help people see different avenues that are coming up for them. I love helping people.

And for those of you who have been watching me on T.V., you now know why I say 'spirit says...' As you've learned, Its not my information, its from spirit. Pretty cool eh?

So this past Tuesday I was invited up to the Port Perry Island to do a psychic party. A big thank you to Courtney & her Mum for having me come! (beautiful house btw). I have mentioned in previous posts about people who cant be read. I do come across them from time to time. If I find that I cannot help someone (its usually in the first few minutes, btw), I refer them to a colleague, Allyson Peacock (who btw, is a fantastic medium & great lady!). So, back to the party, I met the first guest. I had her shuffle the deck like I always do. I had her pull 6 cards from anywhere in the deck. I dont remember all of the cards that she pulled, but I do remember the first 2 cards she pulled were the diamond & the monkey.  The diamond can represent a few things, but usually it represents a union or marriage. I told her that someone close to her was about to get married. I told her that I felt that this was one of her children (I later found out she had 3 daughters). The Monkey can represent a few things as well, but in this case it meant travel. I told her that I could see her on a plane, and I felt that she was on her way to a warm or tropical destination. I kept hearing the words 'Dominican Republic'.  She proceeded to tell me that she would never be on a plane, & had no interest in going anywhere warm or tropical. She was terrified of flying.
HUMPH! Well, plan b. So I did what I normally do. I was honest, told her I didn't think I could read her, and gave her money back.  She asked what the rest of the cards meant, and I told her the meaning, but I couldn't give her the context as I was obviously way off in reading her energy. She asked if we could try again after I did a few other readings. I've never had anyone ask to try again, so I've never done it. I agreed, but told her to hang on to her money until I saw here again in an hour or so. Not such a great start to the night.
The next guest came down. I did the same thing, 'please shuffle the deck as best you can. when your ready pull 6 cards from anywhere in the deck'. She did, & I read her cards. She was also going to travel somewhere tropical or warm, it would be soon. She was also going to have a union in her future, which I felt was also soon. I was bang on with a few things. She told me that she and her boyfriend had been discussing marriage and that they were thinking of a destination wedding to Las Vegas! Just before she left, I took a good look at her, & asked if she was related to the previous guest.  She said yes, that the last lady was her mother! I giggled and asked her to tell her mother about her reading and the plans she had been making.
When her mother returned, she laughed and told me that she had no idea that her daughter had been planning all that. When she shuffled the cards again, she pulled 2 of the same cards from the 1st reading (I cant remember what they are). When I was done, we had a good giggle about what had happened, and she seemed to feel a bit better. I SURE DID.
So, I guess the point of this story is, just because you don't think I'm connecting or getting any information for you...... Doesn't mean I'm not!

Interesting..... It is truly amazing what can happen in just a week!

Ok, so for my friends and fans, I need to clarify a few things:

When I'm giving you a reading, I can only give you what I get. I can't control what I get. Spirit gives me all kinds of things.... "the good, the bad, and the ugly" as I say. So, my belief is, if Spirit is bringing this forward for you, then you need to hear it. I don't sugar coat, make nice, or keep information from you! Its not my job to do that. I'm going to give you what I get, I may try to say it diplomatically, but either way, it will come out of my mouth. For example: it was not easy earlier this week telling a client that their significant other was cheating on them.... but... they already knew it, and just wanted confirmation.

Most of my readings are just confirmation for people. Many, many, many people already know the answers they are seeking. Honestly, they just need to hear someone else say it. I am impartial, unbiased, and have no opinion on whatever subject that they come to me for. Its a good position to be in, but please note, the opinions expressed are not of the medium, but of the spirit I am hearing or channeling. (in other words, please don't shoot the messenger!) I'm not here to tell you want you WANT to hear, I'm here to tell you what you NEED to hear.

Karma is alive and well. The simple meaning of Karma is 'what goes around, comes around'. So for every action you do (positive or negative), the equivalent will happen to you or for you. Now, to make it more complicated..... since we live more than one life (reincarnation), we could be fulfilling Karma from a past life (doesn't that sound fun). For example: In a recent past life you could have been a wealthy Persian Prince. You were used for your power, money & status. You were never respected for your thoughts, or opinions. SO.... when you chose this life time, you made a vow of poverty! Yep, you decided that you wouldn't be used for your money in this life. So now, you may be respected for your thoughts and opinions, but you will struggle to live comfortably, or even survive. Does that make sense?

Other Mediums & Psychics. So, I've said this before, but I'm not sure if I've written it anywhere. We are just like any other profession. Some of us are Great, some of us are Good, and some of us really need to Retire! lol. Honestly, its like dentists, someone will say, 'omg, this dentist I saw was so great, knew exactly what I needed, and fixed me up right away'. So you say, that sounds good, I'm going to book with them. So you go to the appointment, and the dentist that your friend raved about was well.... brutal. So there are a few factors. #1, you didn't really want to have your teeth checked/cleaned (so you aren't open to hear what the medium says), #2 they weren't your cup of tea (you didn't feel that the medium was connected or reading you), and #3 you came out of the appointment hurting & very unhappy (Its possible that the medium could not read you, but kept trying anyway). We (mediums/psychics) are not perfect. Our Motto is 'from spirit, through spirit, to spirit', but it doesn't always work. The only thing I can suggest is that if your reading isn't going well, tell the medium that your working with. If they can't help you, they will know someone else that probably can (if your open to it).

Accuracy: In all my time around mediums / psychics (most of my life), its been very rare that we can ever actually pinpoint something like a name. Names are tough! If we are lucky, we are given a name, but for the most part we get an initial, or nothing at all. That is why we usually have to describe what the person looked like. Also, most spirits revert to when they were happiest in their physical body, which in my experience is usually around the age of 35 or so. It gives you something to think about anyway.

Time: Spirit has very little understanding of Time here on earth. What is a few years to us, may only be a few minutes to them. They do NOT wear watches! They have no concept of time, and because they left it behind when they crossed over, they don't feel like they need to keep experiencing it. Ask your self this: 'if you didn't have to keep a schedule..... would you?' NO! lol, at least I know I wouldn't!
