Where is My Loved One?

8/3/2015

Sometimes people come to see me to hear from a specific person. I love when I make those connections for people.

Sometimes I can’t make the connection they want.  You might ask why? More often than not it is because the person is ‘attached’ or ‘supporting’ another who is still here living on the earth plane. So what does that really mean?

Actually there are 2 types of ‘attachments’:

 1. In Limbo Attachment. This is when a person is not completely crossed over. Limbo is not the purgatory that other religions make it out to be. Limbo is not negative or positive, it just is. Its the dimension between the dimensions of Heaven and Earth. It has its own vibration. When the deceased is in limbo they are usually connected or attached to a person, place or thing.

Examples of an “In Limbo Attachment”:

“Person” is usually someone in our inner circle of relationships. A spouse or partner, a sibling, a child, or a parent. This person is someone who the deceased is having a hard time letting go of. Generally they are worried or concerned for this person, and will stay with them until they think this person is/will be ok. For example, I recently had a client who’s father had passed suddenly and unexpectedly. He was found by her husband. The husband was a recovering alcoholic and had been dry for over a decade. After finding his wife’s father he began drinking again as a way to cope with the grief and to help numb the pain of remembering that moment. The Father has attached himself to his son-in-law because he knows that if he goes off the deep end, his daughter will follow him. He will stay with the son-in-law until he feels he is ok, and then will move forward into the heaven dimension.

“Place” as in a physical location. It could be your home, your favourite vacation spot, a family members home, the place you passed. Especially if it was a tragic passing. This is commonly referred to as a haunting. When the deceased is not ready to move from the physical existence to the metaphysical existence. Often they will gently disrupt the energy in the space. They will play with lights, and doors. You may even hear them walking or talking.

“Things” Ah humans, we are so materialistic at times. I jokingly say that my husbands antique car, the one he bought before he even had a drivers license, is the thing he will attach too when he passes. Jewellery, cars, boats, pieces of furniture are all examples and the possibilities are endless. However, it must be something that would have been extremely important to the deceased person. A real life example of this would have been a house clearing that I accompanied my mother to many years ago in the Niagara Falls area. There was a soldier in the century old home who had passed because of some wounds that were inflicted in the battle of Ridgeway. He died in the home, but before passing he hid a pocket watch, a silver plated cup and a letter to his wife in the wall of the loft (attic). This soldier quietly ‘lived’ here for decades. In the early 1990’s the home was renovated and these items were found and taken. The soldier became irate. This is when the hauntings became apparent. He would tell the owners to get out, slam doors and move items. The home was then sold under the premise that it was too small for the family. When the new family moved in they quickly met our disgruntled soldier. He continued to haunt the family and became more and more agitated. That was when my mom was called in. She worked on helping him cross over. Explaining that there was nothing that could be done to retrieve his items, making him aware of the current date and that his wife was probably passed and waiting for him in heaven. It took some time (as convincing someone that they have free will usually does), but he did eventually leave.

2. Completely Crossed Attachment. This is when the person has moved through all of the dimensions (earth, limbo, and heaven). Once they have completed their ‘life review’ , or judgement for lack of a better term, they get their free will back. They now have the opportunity to go anywhere, see and do anything. Not surprisingly, they usually come back for us. They come check on us. Sometimes they feel that they can help us by keeping a stable energy around us. They go were they feel they are needed most, or where the most turmoil is. I know I have told a few clients that their loved ones have their hands full trying to help others here on the earth dimension.  This situation seems to be especially true for those who were caring and nurturing individuals in life, as we keep our personalities in death.

In either case, you will find that the level of communication will not be great, or my not even be possible unless the Medium is in connection with the ‘Person, Place or Thing’ that the deceased is attached to. When this happens, all we can do is WAIT! Wait for a sign. We wait for the deceased to show up in our dreams and have a strong interaction with us (examples: clear conversation, or an embrace). You may also hear their voice on more than one occasion.

Sometimes we need to remove ourselves from the equation. Its not easy to do, but if you take the time to think about it, you too would probably go where you are needed most. When wanting to connect with someone who has died take a moment to think about the other people in the deceased persons life who was important to them. Are they all ok? Are they coping well within their state of grief? How is their health and well being? Try to consider and remember these things, as they could impact who or how shows up at your reading.

Common Examples of an Attachment:

- The couple who were happy and very much in love; one has passed. It is only natural that the deceased would be attached to the living one. Trying to help them adjust to their new life. Waiting patiently to be ‘re-united’ on the metaphysical plane.

- The young child who has passed, who was still dependant on their mother…. wouldn’t it be the mother who needs that comfort the most?

- The parent that has guilt about dying and leaving their child alone or un-supported.

- There was a huge argument or disagreement after their passing (possibly about a will or lack there of). Wouldn’t that person be trying to help settle or create peace between the parties?

The message in this blog may not be what you want to hear, but something that should be recognized as this happens more often than you might think!

Thank you for reading loves. Sending you & yours love & light, Truly

The Weight of It All

Sometimes people ask me what its like to be a medium. Most of the time I smile and tell them how much I love connecting people with their loved ones who have crossed over. But just like in any profession, mediums have challenging days too.

Yesterday. Yeah, yesterday was tough.

It was 8:30 pm & I was sitting with my last client of the day. I had read for her once before. She told me that her last reading was (her words) ‘incredible’. I had described her loved ones perfectly and she was anxious to make those connections again.  I treated her like any other reading…. As I honestly don’t remember any of my readings.

I started as I always do…. Prayer asking for protection and love. I opened the spiritual ‘door’ to let those who have crossed over come in & then I waited…..  When I started describing to this lady the 1st person in the room & how he died, she really had only one question for me. ‘Are you sure the first man you described dead? Or could he still be living somehow?’

When I asked him, he wouldn’t (or maybe couldn’t) respond. He then started talking about his spouse. He also gave me more information about his personality, and more about who he was. He gave me a sense of urgency, that the messages that he was giving me had to be passed along right away.

She thought this was her brother in law. He had been admitted to hospital earlier in the day for some routine or maintenance care. He had a disease, ALS or Lupis or something to that effect. She told me that they had put him in a coma to help him heal faster. A wave of grief came over me. I knew he was still alive. I also knew he wouldn’t be coming out again.

This is the part of my work I dislike. I learned a long time ago, it is not my job to change the messages. Its not my job to judge what is and is not important. I am only the telephone line to the other side.

I told this lady that I was very concerned for him, and that I felt that she should do what she could to support her sister as soon as she could. I don’t think she believed what she was hearing.

We carried on talking to the other family members who had crossed in the room, and the angel that also appeared. The rest of the reading was positive, filled with hope and love from her family and for things coming up in her life.

When I finished with her, I started my evening prayers. I asked God to help this family, as well as the many others that I come in contact with each day. I hoped with all my heart that the information I had given this lady was wrong. That somehow he was going to be fine and that their lives would continue on.

8:30 this morning I received an email from this lady. Her brother in law passed away some time around 8 am.

It’s a heavy thing, doing what I do. Talking about death, talking to dead people, its not always easy. I think that most people are afraid. They are afraid of what I do, what I know and what will be said. I think they are afraid of death.  I really wish they weren’t afraid of me.

The life of a medium is lonely. I think because of their fear, most people wont keep in touch or let me in. Sometimes I feel like people only contact me when they need something from the other side. I’m sure that feeling is not something specific to me, but some days it certainly feels that way.

When I was a kid, I had a hard time differentiating between the living and the ‘dead’. In truth, I had more friends who were ‘dead’ than living. I’ve been an outsider most of my life. I guess that’s why I’ve kept to myself a lot. Maybe that’s why I seem private or sometimes cold. I’ve had a life time of learning that when I let people in, they don’t usually stay long.

Days like today I really ask myself if I’m doing the right thing. Should I be working as a medium? Is this the best way I can be in service to others? Is this the best way to contribute to the earth? Should I be telling people everything I receive?

Yes. As heartbreaking and heavy as it is, this work is needed. At this moment in time, this is how the world needs me.

Tomorrow is a brand new day. It will be filled with new people and new adventures. I’m excited for it. I’m grateful that when I put my head on my pillow tonight, that God will wash away most memories of the messages I shared today. I’m thankful for the peace that comes when I sleep.

Thanks for taking the time. Love & Light,

Truly

How to Pick a Good Medium or Psychic

9/11/2013

Yesterday on the Truly Medium Facebook page a question was asked of “What do you look for when selecting a medium or psychic?” It was asked, in this particular manner, to understand clients “drivers” for their decision making process in selecting services for a highly skeptical industry. With a lack of industry credentials to compare against and with a service that’s very difficult to substantiate with ironclad proof I’m often asked questions like “How do I know a medium or psychic is any good”? The most common responses on the Facebook post were #1 Cost and #2 Accuracy often citing “referrals” as a creditable source to defining accuracy prior to the reading.

The following is our professional opinion here are Truly Medium.

Go With Who You Feel Drawn To

Despite cost, accuracy, or word of mouth my philosophy with potential clients has always been “Go with who you feel drawn to”. If that means we lose a potential client to someone else then so be it. If you are drawn to someone specific it’s for good reason and your gut guiding you towards that person is often your best judgement. Don’t let your pocketbook, flashy website or availability set you off track. Trust your instincts. Also recognize that who you are drawn to today could change tomorrow. For example when I was pregnant with our 2nd child I could not read anyone who was pregnant. It happened every time I tried to read for someone who was pregnant, yet pre and post pregnancy I’m fine with reading pregnant people. For me it was a point and time limitation based on my personal situation.

Cost

With any product or service we buy today we want the best quality for the lowest price. How we each view affordability and value for a service differs with our individual needs. Two factors tend to define a medium or psychics pricing for the most part. #1 experience as well as #2 supply and demand. I work with a lot of mediums socially, through workshops, through education as well as charity and volunteer functions. The greener mediums tend to charge < $100 per session for a private reading. More experienced mediums tend to charge around $100 or more and this is based on approximately an hour session. Some will use pricing to balance supply with demand which can help reduce wait times. So how much does a reading cost with big names like Sylvia Browne, Theresa Caputo or John Edwards? It often depends who you are speaking of and where they are in their career. Sylvia Browne and John Edwards have been giving readings for a long time. Their wait lists are in the “years” and their cost is typically $800 or more for approximately 30 minutes. Theresa Caputo is on the fast track with her TV show Long Island Medium and I’d hazard to say her pricing is increasing quickly. Last I heard she charged $400+ for 30 minutes with a 2.5 year wait. Keep in mind pricing for these folks is also fueled by great publicity agents as well as a number of books some of them have written. When it comes to you, as the client, ensure you are getting all you intended to during a reading. Scribe notes during your session. Ask if you can record the reading to reflect on it and ensure the medium or psychic takes the time to explain things to you that may not make sense. They may bring forward symbols, phrases or history. If they don’t ask “do you know what this is or means?” be sure to ask them. Ensure you get everything out of your reading.

Accuracy

Accuracy. I love this one as much as I detest it. You as a potential client may often get frustrated with trying to define a medium or psychic’s accuracy rate prior to booking a reading. It’s just as hard for a medium or psychic to compile that information because it’s so subjective. A client vs a medium or psychic may have 2 very different opinions on how a session went. Additionally I’ll sometimes have a client which will leave thinking “I don’t know who that was Truly connected to for me and thus I’m not sure if I should take the information that came forward”. At the time of the reading one would say that was an inaccurate reading, but let me tell you the number of times I’ve had people call or email me days, weeks even months after a reading to say “I’ve spoken with so and so and they knew exactly who you were talking about, so now it all makes sense”.

Accuracy can also be influenced by a medium or psychic having a bad day or conversely by the client not being open during the reading. Therefore, it’s very difficult to quantify how accurate someone is, so what should you look for when shopping around? Here are a few things I recommend:

1.       Personal Referrals. Preferably from people you know. We all have testimonials and that is helpful, but how do you know if what you read is legitimate or not? Personal referrals are independent experiences that can help immensely.

2.       Experience. Dive into a medium or psychics background. Understand how they became a medium or psychic. Did they come from a family which welcomed and fostered this type of behaviour? How many years have they been performing their work and in what capacities? Do they do this on a full time basis or is this a side gig for them?

3.       Growth. It is a gift to have these skill sets, but did you know these skills are also developed? Doing more readings may make you faster or more comfortable as a medium or psychic, but they won’t necessarily make you grow and produce more qualitative readings. To grow, like any other service, one needs to educate. This is done a number of ways through workshops, classes and meditation. Investigate to understand what your medium or psychic does for self-development and growth.  As an example I’m on a board of directors which runs programs to educate and mentor mediums. Within this organization I’m both a student and a teacher. This helps me tremendously. It’s important to know that these options are out there for mediums and psychics.

A final point I’d like to share is ensure you chose someone with integrity and seek qualities that portray that’s what the medium or psychic possess. This can be difficult to identify initially without referrals, but look for other signs on how they express themselves through their website or advertising. One of my personal objectives has been to re-gain ground on people’s perception on the profession of a medium or psychic. To assist with that I use my full legal name (yes Truly is my legal first name), pictures identifying who I am, sessions performed out of my personal home rather than an undisclosed location and I dress in business attire which is often no different than what you’d find on Bay street. I’m only as good as my business and my business is only as good as my clients perceive and communicate it to be.

We hope you find this information helpful and hope it provides some quality guidance to assist in selecting the right medium or psychic which provides closure in your life, connects with loved ones as you’ve seeked or assists in predicting pathways of your future.

Love and light.

Interesting lessons on Psychics Vs. Mediums

9/13/2011

Hi Y'all! Sorry its been so long... Life gets crazy sometimes, as you all know. Now that I'm almost back into my regular routine, I'm attending Wednesday Night Open Meditation Classes at the Divine Light Spiritual Foundation. The Teacher is Mrs. Bonnie Galka, a lovely & well educated lady, who gives a very good guided meditation.

Each Wednesday Bonnie asks if anyone has any questions. Since the class is mostly attended by beginners, there is always at least one question. A few questions that have come up recently are: Why can't a Medium or Psychic get the information that I'm asking for?  Why should we seek the guidance of a Medium or Psychic, when the outcome or what they predict can change? and Whats the difference between a Medium and a Psychic?  Lol, of course it is a subject near and dear to my heart.... and Bonnie knows this, so she let me have the floor.

So... There is no guarantee that the medium can see what your asking of them. The thing is, we depend on spirit to bring forward what you need to know. They tell us what to tell you, not the other way around. They bring what they feel is important. Now, you may not feel it is important, but really, who are you to tell them (spirit) what is and isn't important? Don't you think they may know better than you? Also, just because it isn't important to you, doesn't mean its not important to someone else (your spouse, your kid, your friend), anyone you share the information with. You never know, it could mean the world to that other person, and you have no clue that they are even interested.  Now, say you have something in specific that you want to know about. We can certainly ask about it, but spirit may not be willing to share at this time. Yes, we get as frustrated as you do.

The whole point in seeking guidance is just that, to seek information. When you receive that information you have free will to follow it, or to change it. Sometimes just knowing that an event is going to happen stops it in its tracks, or changes the outcome. You have the ability to believe what the medium/psychic says, or you can choose to ignore it. Or say I tell you that I see a car accident in your future. By giving you that information, you will most likely change your driving habits (subconsciously) and may actually prevent it. I have a really great example of this if you ever get the chance to ask me about it.
The 3rd and final question is the one I had the hardest answering. I now realize that I had to live through working this past weekend at Oshawa Rib Fest, to be able to fully answer it. (I started this blog back at the beginning of August!). If you look under my FAQ's page you'll see these definitions:

Mediums ~ A medium has the ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead. This may be accomplished by channeling, in which the medium acts as a go-between for the other side. A good medium is also constantly updating their education in how to communicate.

Psychics ~ A psychic works at an intuitive level. Individuals who are psychic claim to have the ability to perceive information hidden from the normal senses via a "sixth sense" or extrasensory perception.

A medium may have psychic abilities, but a psychic may not be a medium.

I hope that helped a bit. I have found that most psychics don't do anything to keep up with learning new techniques or information. They feel that they do not need to. They just have to practice the gift that they were given.

I had the opportunity to meet a psychic while at the Rib Fest. She was a little perturbed that we (myself and other mediums/psychics) were there. Apparently she has been working Rib Fest since the beginning, and has never had any competition. I will say this, when people came to her and asked for someone who was in my tent, she actually sent them to us! I was shocked to learn that, and accompanied Shannon (the owner of my tent) to thank her for that.  Now.... I found it interesting that I was handed a brochure that talked about her psychic abilities, that she was a healer, reader and advisor (her spelling).  I loved this line on the inside cover "She will tell you why you came and how to solve it".  Other parts read: Let her be your solution. let her amaze you with her healing abilities to clear black magic, bad luck and evil forces! Put your heart and mind at peace knowing you can trust and believe once again. Specialize in removing any sorrow your heart has felt. Call Today for a better tomorrow.

This Amazing Lady is open 9 to 9, 7 days a week! There is a phone number for you to call, but no address..... or NAME? Really? NO NAME? That CANT be a Typo. Sorry, I'm sure someone would have caught that. This brochure has been printed by a professional printer.  I get not having an address on it, as I too work out of my home, but not a name? That I just don't understand. Where is the integrity? Why isn't she proud to put her name to what she does?

We had a few people come to our tent after visiting with her. 2 out of 3 were scared. Honestly scared! She had said that they had been cursed and that she couldn't remove the  curse there, (of course), but that they would have to book a private reading later in the week (of course). Oh by the way, that later reading was to the tune of $300! and that was just the 1st visit, it would take 3 or 4 (but of course). Also if she prays for your soul, that's another fee.

Oh, and don't ask her how she got the information.... she just knows..... really. She doesn't hear, see or feel spirit. None of the information comes from spirit. Just her.

God knows I'm not perfect, but at least I'm honest. I stand behind my work. I am the real deal. And I never take the glory for spirit... as we mediums say... 'From Spirit, THROUGH Spirit, To Spirit." . I'm just the messenger.  I also don't scare people into seeing me again. I actually tell them not to come and see me before 6 months. People need time to let things unfold. I also remind them that they have free will, and that ultimately how their life turns out is really up to them. I try to suggest ways they can improve their life themselves (like through eduction, readings or classes, meditation, physical activity, or by seeking out medical guidance.)

I have testimonials, I teach workshops on self improvement (and don't charge an arm & a leg). I'm constantly taking classes and reading books. I don't gouge when it comes to my fees (private or parties). Everyday I answer questions to clarify something that came up in a reading for a client. I do that at no charge.

I always tell people it's not about the money. I use the money towards my retirement, taking my family on vacation and some of the niceties that life has to offer. I don't need the money. I do it to help. I love to help people connect with their loved ones. I love to help people see different avenues that are coming up for them. I love helping people.

Anyway, I hope that helps people know what to look for when looking for help & answers from the divine (spirit).  If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them. I welcome the discussions.

As always, thank you for reading. Sorry it was so long. Love & Light, Truly

And for those of you who have been watching me on T.V., you now know why I say 'spirit says...' As you've learned, Its not my information, its from spirit. Pretty cool eh?

Parties & Un-Readable People!

6/18/2011

So this past Tuesday I was invited up to the Port Perry Island to do a psychic party. A big thank you to Courtney & her Mum for having me come! (beautiful house btw). I have mentioned in previous posts about people who cant be read. I do come across them from time to time. If I find that I cannot help someone (its usually in the first few minutes, btw), I refer them to a colleague, Allyson Peacock (who btw, is a fantastic medium & great lady!). So, back to the party, I met the first guest. I had her shuffle the deck like I always do. I had her pull 6 cards from anywhere in the deck. I dont remember all of the cards that she pulled, but I do remember the first 2 cards she pulled were the diamond & the monkey.  The diamond can represent a few things, but usually it represents a union or marriage. I told her that someone close to her was about to get married. I told her that I felt that this was one of her children (I later found out she had 3 daughters). The Monkey can represent a few things as well, but in this case it meant travel. I told her that I could see her on a plane, and I felt that she was on her way to a warm or tropical destination. I kept hearing the words 'Dominican Republic'.  She proceeded to tell me that she would never be on a plane, & had no interest in going anywhere warm or tropical. She was terrified of flying.
HUMPH! Well, plan b. So I did what I normally do. I was honest, told her I didn't think I could read her, and gave her money back.  She asked what the rest of the cards meant, and I told her the meaning, but I couldn't give her the context as I was obviously way off in reading her energy. She asked if we could try again after I did a few other readings. I've never had anyone ask to try again, so I've never done it. I agreed, but told her to hang on to her money until I saw here again in an hour or so. Not such a great start to the night.
The next guest came down. I did the same thing, 'please shuffle the deck as best you can. when your ready pull 6 cards from anywhere in the deck'. She did, & I read her cards. She was also going to travel somewhere tropical or warm, it would be soon. She was also going to have a union in her future, which I felt was also soon. I was bang on with a few things. She told me that she and her boyfriend had been discussing marriage and that they were thinking of a destination wedding to Las Vegas! Just before she left, I took a good look at her, & asked if she was related to the previous guest.  She said yes, that the last lady was her mother! I giggled and asked her to tell her mother about her reading and the plans she had been making.
When her mother returned, she laughed and told me that she had no idea that her daughter had been planning all that. When she shuffled the cards again, she pulled 2 of the same cards from the 1st reading (I cant remember what they are). When I was done, we had a good giggle about what had happened, and she seemed to feel a bit better. I SURE DID.
So, I guess the point of this story is, just because you don't think I'm connecting or getting any information for you...... Doesn't mean I'm not!
Thanks for reading lovies. xoxo Love & Light,
Truly

Clarification on How a Medium Psychic Works

6/12/2011

Interesting..... It is truly amazing what can happen in just a week!

Ok, so for my friends and fans, I need to clarify a few things:

When I'm giving you a reading, I can only give you what I get. I can't control what I get. Spirit gives me all kinds of things.... "the good, the bad, and the ugly" as I say. So, my belief is, if Spirit is bringing this forward for you, then you need to hear it. I don't sugar coat, make nice, or keep information from you! Its not my job to do that. I'm going to give you what I get, I may try to say it diplomatically, but either way, it will come out of my mouth. For example: it was not easy earlier this week telling a client that their significant other was cheating on them.... but... they already knew it, and just wanted confirmation.

Most of my readings are just confirmation for people. Many, many, many people already know the answers they are seeking. Honestly, they just need to hear someone else say it. I am impartial, unbiased, and have no opinion on whatever subject that they come to me for. Its a good position to be in, but please note, the opinions expressed are not of the medium, but of the spirit I am hearing or channeling. (in other words, please don't shoot the messenger!) I'm not here to tell you want you WANT to hear, I'm here to tell you what you NEED to hear.

Karma is alive and well. The simple meaning of Karma is 'what goes around, comes around'. So for every action you do (positive or negative), the equivalent will happen to you or for you. Now, to make it more complicated..... since we live more than one life (reincarnation), we could be fulfilling Karma from a past life (doesn't that sound fun). For example: In a recent past life you could have been a wealthy Persian Prince. You were used for your power, money & status. You were never respected for your thoughts, or opinions. SO.... when you chose this life time, you made a vow of poverty! Yep, you decided that you wouldn't be used for your money in this life. So now, you may be respected for your thoughts and opinions, but you will struggle to live comfortably, or even survive. Does that make sense?

Other Mediums & Psychics. So, I've said this before, but I'm not sure if I've written it anywhere. We are just like any other profession. Some of us are Great, some of us are Good, and some of us really need to Retire! lol. Honestly, its like dentists, someone will say, 'omg, this dentist I saw was so great, knew exactly what I needed, and fixed me up right away'. So you say, that sounds good, I'm going to book with them. So you go to the appointment, and the dentist that your friend raved about was well.... brutal. So there are a few factors. #1, you didn't really want to have your teeth checked/cleaned (so you aren't open to hear what the medium says), #2 they weren't your cup of tea (you didn't feel that the medium was connected or reading you), and #3 you came out of the appointment hurting & very unhappy (Its possible that the medium could not read you, but kept trying anyway). We (mediums/psychics) are not perfect. Our Motto is 'from spirit, through spirit, to spirit', but it doesn't always work. The only thing I can suggest is that if your reading isn't going well, tell the medium that your working with. If they can't help you, they will know someone else that probably can (if your open to it).

Accuracy: In all my time around mediums / psychics (most of my life), its been very rare that we can ever actually pinpoint something like a name. Names are tough! If we are lucky, we are given a name, but for the most part we get an initial, or nothing at all. That is why we usually have to describe what the person looked like. Also, most spirits revert to when they were happiest in their physical body, which in my experience is usually around the age of 35 or so. It gives you something to think about anyway.

Time: Spirit has very little understanding of Time here on earth. What is a few years to us, may only be a few minutes to them. They do NOT wear watches! They have no concept of time, and because they left it behind when they crossed over, they don't feel like they need to keep experiencing it. Ask your self this: 'if you didn't have to keep a schedule..... would you?' NO! lol, at least I know I wouldn't!

I hope this helps out a bit. I'll try to post more blogs like this to help educate. I know this information isn't always readily available.  Btw, feel free to ask questions, I love answering them!

Getting Down To It! Design Your Life Path

5/29/2011

They say life is what you make it. So why not make it great? Who says you can't do all the things you dream of. Get up and get busy already! You can do it. Lately I've had a lot of clients come asking about a different path, or changing careers. You know, I've always said, if you can dream it, you can do it, you just gotta get up off your butt!
We are not here to have things given to us. When we incarnate to the earth, it is to learn lessons (on many levels I might add). So to think that your just going to get something you really want just because you 'wish' for it is silly. You need to do the leg work involved. You need to build a foundation before you can build a house. It doesn't hurt to ask the Universe or God of your understanding for help, but by no means will it just be given to you. Instead of asking to become a rock star, why not ask for the opportunity to show people what a great singer/musician you are? By asking that, you are accepting your personal responsibility. You would need to spend time practicing your craft to be a great singer/musician. The opportunity can be given, and actually so can the talent, but if you don't work to improve it, you'll never be a rock star. The same goes for Mediums & Psychics. We need to practice our craft. Every week I set aside 1-2 hours to meditate and communicate with spirit and the collective consciousness. By doing this, I am practicing my skills, a "fine tuning of my instrument" if you will. I also gather with like minded people to share information and experiences on a weekly basis. Finding someone to relate to can be very rewarding. You may not have many things in common, but when you do feel that sense of connection, it can open your eyes to new possibilities, and new ways of thinking.
Well Lovies, I'll get off my soap box now. Please know that I love & respect you, wherever you are in your life lessons & I'm always willing to help. Love & Light, Truly

Skills and Accuracy with a Medium Psychic

5/10/2011

Thanks to some help from my family, friends and my fantastic husband, my small business has really taken off.  People are having to wait to see me, which is nice for me to know I'm in high demand, but not so great for my clients. I am trying to open my schedule up as much as I can Lovies, please bear with me!
Interestingly enough, the busier I am,  the more accurate my work becomes! I always knew practice makes perfect, but who would have thought that is the case when it comes to giving messages.  I shouldn't be so surprised. I tell my students that all the time. I guess it just shocked me that my skills and abilities were improving at such a drastic rate.
Recently the most common question I get is "how accurate are you?".  I'm as accurate as you allow me to be. I know that seems like a funny answer, but if you aren't open to hearing new possibilities, then to you, I wouldn't be accurate at all. Also, if you keep information from me, or falsify information, I can't be accurate. There is some truth in everything we say, so I may still be able to get some information, but it wont be of the best quality.
Another common question that has come up recently is "Can you read everyone?". The simple answer is No. First of all, I need permission to read for you. So no, I can't just read people I pass by on the street, in a store, or in a class.  Secondly, I can't read everyone. Some people have a kind of 'psychic wall' around them that prevents me from seeing or talking to their spirit guides & loved ones. This wall is usually made by that person not being open to the possibility of having a reading done. It can even be done subconsciously.  Also sometimes I can't read for friends or loved ones because my intention for them (wanting the best for them) gets in the way. In a nut shell, No, I can't read everyone.
Well, I should be sleeping, but the energies are at work tonight. Please feel free to leave a comment or question. I'd love to hear from you! Love & Light, Truly
