Healing, Spirituality, and Finding Our Way Forward

Dear friends,

It’s been a long time since I’ve felt inspired to write a blog. My dad used to wish people, “May you live in interesting times.” I’ve often wondered if he meant that as a blessing or a curse. Knowing the man he was, I recognize now it was always a blessing—and I’m grateful for it.

Interesting times usually mean change and challenge. But the most beautiful part is this: we get to choose how we respond. We get to choose how we react. How we show up in the world—not only for ourselves, but for others.

These “interesting times” in my own life have demanded that I step into even greater authenticity. I’ve always tried to be transparent with you in my work—whether in spirituality, mediumship, or teaching—but this season of life has asked me to live that authenticity even more deeply.

One thing I’ll always encourage is learning about yourself. Understanding your own energy signature, your core values, your beliefs, and where your worldview comes from. These shape how you move through life. And here’s what I’ve discovered: spirituality mirrors everything. If your life feels unfocused, so will your spiritual growth. And yes—that’s a lot of work. It takes discipline, dedication, and time. Our capacity ebbs and flows with life’s seasons, and that’s okay.
A dear friend recently reminded me that grief can take up to five years before we begin to feel a sense of normalcy again. Think about that: five years. The pandemic layered on what we now call “compounded grief”—not just from death, but from lost routines, disrupted community, economic instability, and even a loss of certainty and trust.

Maybe you’ve felt the pull to connect again, to gather, to return to community. I know I have. That’s why this fall, I’m creating spaces for us to come together--Truly Medium Live, meditation classes, and workshops—opportunities to reconnect and grow alongside one another.

As I step into this next season of my life, I feel excited. I am consciously doing the work—healing, living authentically, and creating a life I’m truly thrilled about.
I also want to mention something I’ve been thinking about: creating a spiritual gathering right here in my office in Lindsay. I’m still waiting for guidance from spirit, but I’d love to hear your ideas. How could we use this space to bring our community together? Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome—I hope we can create something meaningful together.

If you’ve read this far—thank you. I hope this inspires you to take one small step toward the life you deserve, filled with love, connection and the right amount of community.

All love,
Truly
